SE-RART Discussion of Historical Mysteries Today in Barnstable

A longer post will follow, but the group mentioned two resources for reader’s advisory training that we said we would post on the blog:

The Massachusetts Library System’s Readers’ Advisory MLSGuide
Genre Overviews — Watch recorded ones or sign up for Miki’s Fantasy Genre Overview

Other training opportunities are listed on the MLSGuide and in the MLS calendar, including a workshop on Reading a Book in 5 Minutes in Lakeville, on Tuesday, April 7, 10:30-12:30.

An intrepid group of reader’s advisors ventured out on snowy roads for this morning’s meeting. (We had a snow date of next Tuesday, but another Monday night storm is forecast for the day before, so that wasn’t any help!) We took a group photo to commemorate. What a lovely meeting room at the Sturgis Library in Barnstable, with a fire going in the fireplace. We could have stayed all day talking!

A smaller group than usual, but vocal!
